  Had a fantastic experience. Our server, Matthew, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations for wine. Every single thing we ordered tasted delicious and exceeded our expectations. The steak was cooked perfectly, our soup was perfect for a snowy evening, and the desert finished off the night on the perfect note.

  As frequent Williamsburg visitors, we were looking for a restaurant in the historic area that we had not yet tried when we found the Blue Talon Bistro on St. George St. It promised serious comfort food aka country French. I had slow cooked butter poached chicken and my husband, the pot roast. Both entrees were excellent in every way. It was difficult to choose from the extensive and varied wine offering. Both of our selections were perfect. And the dessert selection was impressive. We loved the goat cheese tart with berries and lemon curd. Beautifully presented and yummy.
  I can't say enough nice things about our server Sam. He was fairly new to the bistro but was knowledgeable about the items and gave us top rate service (friendly and professional). He contributed to a very pleasant evening.
  As I watched other staff it was easy to see that this standard was across the board.
  I would highly recommend Blue Talon Bistro as part of an expanded Williamsburg experience.
