  The courses (Blue Heron & Black Heath) were in fine shape, and while there was nothing especially memorable about them, they were very solid courses.
  
  However, the staff was horrible. Extremely rude to the guys in our group, including myself and the other guy running our trip. They forgot several things we asked for, gave us incorrect information about pin placements, and constantly berated us for failing to make our tee times, even though they put us behind a group that played in 5.5 hours one morning, and the clubhouse staff messed up and put us behind the second morning, all while yelling at each other over the radios while we waited to be able to tee off. It took 30 mins to get a sandwich at the turn, again, putting us behind. And all the while, they were extremely rude to us (except for two of the starters (Ben and Mick)).
  
  I would definitely avoid Ford's Colony, and play other courses in the area. The staff ruined our experience for two days.

  This golf course is great, the course that I play the blue Herron was fun and challenging. The golf staff was super friendly great place to go and play golf

  RUDE AND PRETENTIOUS. I am on my honeymoon with my wife and was looking forward to a golf outing. We aren't filthy rich and familiar with these pretentious places and their rules but we golf frequently back home on a variety of courses. We were excited for the opportunity to golf on this course which is actually cheaper than the courses back home. However, the "manager" Jason was extremely rude and snobby (for lack of a better word) about our clothing (white T-shirts and khaki shorts), and practically shamed us for not knowing their dress code, which was never mentioned on the website or when we scheduled our tee time. We cancelled. I am not going to pay someone to treat us that way. If you like snobs and polo shirts, this is the place for you. I, on the other hand would give this course zero stars if I could.

  Amazing place to golf and spend time with the family. Very expensive though.
