  The Jefferson Inn is a fine family owned and operated local favorite. I have been dining here for over 30 years and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a wonderful experience.

  Don't go here you would be better finding road kill and cooking it, the silverware was placed directly on the table! How disgusting! I honestly took hand sanitizer and put it on my fork before i ate with it I was that disgusted with it, doesn't help especially when you see food particles left on your table from the previous guests, on top of it the knife still had food on it as well. EW. Don't even get me started on the food it was horrible. The only good thing was the one little roll they gave you. The waitress was nice and friendly but you could tell she was a chain smoker and that honestly burned my nose so horribly each time she came to the table if she is going to smoke she should at least wear some perfume to mask it, since this is a "higher" class restaurant. I highly do not recommend this place. Go to McDonald's you'll be better off.

  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. This was the most nasty food I've ever tasted. I've had better hospital food than this place. My husband and I are visiting this area and we couldn't wait to get out of there. The food was over priced and definitely not worth it. How do you have a Surf and Turf and pay extra for the surf. Isn't that just a steak dinner? We had dinner about an hour ago and my husband is having stomach issues...visiting with Mr. Tidy Bowel...need I say more. My rice piliof tasted like a mouth full of unseasoned mushy microwaved bootleg rice pudding and I still have that horrible taste in my mouth. Our dessert is Tums and Rolaids. This is a place for Chef Ramsey for Kitchen Nightmares.

  LOVE THIS PLACE! We were in Virginia for our family vacation. It was late, there was a hurricane coming and we were starving. I can't remember what restaurant we were looking for, but we were just so hungry we said that's just eat here. We are so glad that we did.. It was excellent. Our server and the owner were both so accommodating to us. My son, was very cranky from being at the park all day. They allowed him to bring all the stuffed animals he had won and even offered a high chair for them to sit in.
  
  The food was EXCELLENT!!! My daughter, husband and I had the steak, my son had a pasta I will say that my husband regreted not getting the lobster tail, is was huge and looked very good.
  
  We will definitely be back to The Jefferson!
