  Paul's Deli is one of the cornerstones of entertainment and nightlife within Williamsburg, Va. From families, to old timers, to college kids, this bar is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where anyone can come and enjoy fair prices on beer. The food is also some of the best bar food in town. Try the loaded cheese fries!

  Food was good but the guys behind the food line were extremely rude and that was before they didn't get our order right. Maybe they didn't like our looks because they were rude to 3 separate people in our party, then as I was ordering a.beer from the bartender(nice girl) she asked a cook(owner?) How they were to which his response was "what do you think?" With a stupid look on his face. Won't be back. Two stars for bartenders

  First tine there. The food was really good but the service was lacking. We were seated right away and he took our order right away. Did not bring silverware and I had to yell across the restaurant to get someones attention to refill our drinks and bring silverware. They weren't busy at all. There were only 3 other tables there. Apparently they just come to work to stand around and talk. And the guy who waited on us would rather hang on his phone. We won't be going back.

  Manager being very aggressive toward bar patrons.
  
  Got there a few minutes before the situation happened. Looked as though the local W&M football team and coaches were eating dinner and having some sort of function with older gentleman. I was at the bar having a drink looking at the menu. Three guys came in were acting very friendly, one was being a little loud, but not harming anyone.
  One of the three had a deeper voice and was yelling over they guy who announces when your food is ready. Manager walks from around the bar ask him to settle down. He replied "Yes sir, Sorry" Manager replies "You are cut off". Surprisingly the three patrons were very polite said "okay". The manager then tells the bartender to give them their money back and was very aggressive toward the three guys. The three gentlemen who were asked to leave did so, and they even left the tip for the bartender despite having their drinks taken away.
  It is normally one of my favorite places to go. I was just very surprised by the way the manager handled the situation. Even though the three guys next to me where very polite as they were getting kicked out, manager was way too aggressive and could have made a very bad situation for me as I was sitting right next to them. I immediately cashed out and left.
  Possible booster politics.
