  Normally food is good, but stick with the Italian dishes and pizza. Don't order chicken wings appetizer unless you like them seasoned hot. Menu states they are "mild". If that's what they call mild, I'd hate to see what "hot" would be! Also, the crust was over cooked. I mentioned it and they were removed from the bill. Service is good, House salad and dressing is good and veal with Lemmon butter is great. Some of best pizza I've ever had.

  Our server was friendly and most helpful. We have been here quite frequently and are never disappointed. My husband really loves the sauce! We are transplants from New England and just love Italian food!!

  Ordered over $50 worth of food to be delivered. Opened my spaghetti and found long dark hair in it. I called Sal's back, very respectfully, to inform them of what happened. A woman answered the phone and told me " I don't know how that could have happened, no one in the kitchen has dark hair... Hold on". She comes back and says, " My manager said we don't have anyone here with dark hair". I respectfully explained that my family is black and no one here has the type hair found in my food (which I should not have had to do). This woman never apologized, insinuating I was lying. After I already paid over $50 and waited over an hour for delivery what reason did I have to lie?! I'm a paying customer, not looking for free food! Not even mentioning the fact the food was cold. I was never rude or disrespectful, as I know these type things happen, but I did not receive the same in return. I was so disappointed in the customer service I received and will not be returning.
