    Great atmosphere. Expensive meals, but well worth it. Check out the hearth in the basement (original bricks) the living historians are awesome.

    Very period authentic. Actually ate by candlelight. Staff was friendly and helpful. Especially loved the fiddler. Do not order the Rummer unless you like cough syrup. The food was good and lots of it. Make sure you go in hungry or you will not be able to finish it. The price was right. Overall an experience you need to have at least once.

    Popular place with historically inspired dishes. Cocktails are authentic (not sugary like most "appletinis" so beware). Roving joke teller and guitar player who roams among all the 11 dining rooms. I found the sub-basement bathroom interesting below the very old seeming dining area.
